Press release: Simcito announces public testing of Driver’s Republic
Lund,
Sweden, 5th June 2006: Swedish game developer Simcito announced
that it will soon begin a free public test of its online racing
simulator "Driver's Republic". Testing will initially
be limited to 400 users, selected on a first-come, first-served
basis. Registration will begin on June 26th and interested participants
will be able to register for the test at www.driversrepublic.net.
"Driver's Republic", formerly known by its working
title "Racecom", features a unique and fully-modular
content creation system. Simcito aims for "Driver's Republic"
to become a leading platform for realistic race simulation,
with support for a wide range of racing series, from rallying
to circuit racing.
